Magic House

Daisy and her new piggy, whose name is Snorky, get ready for the day. All stuffed animals lately are named Snorky, at least at first.

I gave a book about "The Simpsons" to Jon, but A.J. decided dad didn't need to be the first to read it. No pictures or anything, but A.J. spent the whole day riveted by it.

Curious George in the house. The Magic House.

Fishing.

Fixing a tire.

'Sup, George.

This is the beginning of a very strange little interlude, when A.J. and Curious George, um, got into a fight.

Take it from me, George. You aren't winning this one.

Meanwhile, Daisy's climbing the walls looking for a way out.

She's got no beef with George.

Our little Alex P. Keaton

Buster: I'll tell you my favorite word. I have two.
OK.
My first favorite word is "incorporated."
Why?
I don't know, I just like the way it sounds. In-CORP-orated. In-CORP-orated. Incorpo-RATED. My second favorite word is -- what's the name of that kind of car that has a peace sign in a circle?
Mercedes.
Mercedes. That's my second favorite word. For the same reason.

Evansville

At GattiTown pizza.

Look at that form!

Lindsey and Daisy on the Frog Hopper, which whips up and down. I thought it would terrify Daisy. It didn't.

Buster gets his speed on.

Buster gets his crash on.

Buster gets his girls on.

Halloween night

We're headed to Noe Valley to trick or treat on Fair Oaks Ave. with our friends Sara, Caleb and Toby.

Zorro not in full dress yet.

Rare appearance of the difficult-to-keep-in-place tiara. The groovy '80s music video effect is actually a bus-stop shelter.

Cinderella, you devil! On the 14 Mission.

Just another late afternoon on Mission Street.

First trick or treat stop: A bar. Two guys in the doorway: One giving out candy to kids, one checking ID's.

Suiting up. Sara paints Caleb the bat's face.

Here he is.

Zorro straps it on.

Toby the mummy.

They're off. They better watch out. There's some weird, ugly-looking people out here.

Whoa.

That's better. I love San Francisco, don't you?

Still photography does not do justice to Cinderella's light-up shoes, so we now present this short film.

Couldn't get a good picture of this either, but there was a teenage rock band playing on the veranda of a house on Fair Oaks, atop a garage that was also a haunted house.

Zorro liked 'em.

Cinderella danced with the devil to them.

Up!

And down. Headed home. Going, going ...

Gone. Good night, Cinderella. Your chariot has turned back into the 14 Mission.

Pumpkin carving

At the Excelsior Youth Center.

Buster's been wearing this shirt for half of his life now. He got it when he was 3.

Mom's got the Big Yellow Gloves to protect her spectacular new nail job (not pictured).

The artist at work.

Daisy gets a hand from her new friend Jenna.

Aaaand ready to go.

Buster and Dad try to run home faster than Mom and Daisy can drive. A noble effort, but not successful.

Two views of the finished product, no flash and flash. Which is scarier?
