A day in St. Boogie

We start with a little air hockey.

Then to Tower Grove Park.

This is a really fun spinny thing. Not pictured: Post-spin upchuck. Fun!

Rare photograph of Buster and Daisy playing together.

Lunch at the Royale.

And then on to the ridiculously awesome Citygarden sculpture park in downtown St. Louis.

Art appreciation. Heh-heh. Heh.

Big brother appreciation.

Big ol' Pinocchio.

Who gets a punch in the nuts from Buster. Now here's some random Daisy cuteness.

And an antidote.

Big Arch, little girl.

Right under it.

Hanging out with the Ryan boys.

Back home. Big smiles from Daisy and Taylor.

Magic House

Daisy and her new piggy, whose name is Snorky, get ready for the day. All stuffed animals lately are named Snorky, at least at first.

I gave a book about "The Simpsons" to Jon, but A.J. decided dad didn't need to be the first to read it. No pictures or anything, but A.J. spent the whole day riveted by it.

Curious George in the house. The Magic House.

Fishing.

Fixing a tire.

'Sup, George.

This is the beginning of a very strange little interlude, when A.J. and Curious George, um, got into a fight.

Take it from me, George. You aren't winning this one.

Meanwhile, Daisy's climbing the walls looking for a way out.

She's got no beef with George.

STL cont'd: Memorial Day party

The Derschmukes hosted a viewing of the Paris-Kaufmans.

Buster's first time playing Wii. That's Van on the left. Guess whose turn it is.

Daisy and Bennett

So Buster, A.J. and Van kept kind of disappearing behind the garage, and Dad was wondering what they were up to. So he snuck over, reached around the corner with the camera and ...

Then, perhaps bravely, perhaps foolishly, he stepped out into the open, which turned out to be ...

... his final act.

On the lam

But a heart o' gold. A present for Mom

STL cont'd: A.J.'s birthday party

Taylor

Buster's got the drop on me, even with the wrong eye closed.

What.

A pensive birthday boy, feeling the weight of the world now that he's 4.
