A walk in the Panhandle


And Golden Gate Park. This is an area next to the Conservatory of Flowers with lots of desert flora, which probably thrives in San Francisco's climate.


Daisy and Nippy in the Painted Desert. We're on our way here to this diorama model train exhibit in the Conservatory of Flowers, a holiday thing representing San Francisco. The exhibit was pretty cool, and your humble servant got no good pix of it. But here's one of Daddy and Daisy trying to deal with the stifling, unbearable heat. (85 degrees.)

That's a vintage Toronto Blue Jays original logo cap. Not a good picture of that either. But you can kind of see the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.
