Dad: What is it?
Daisy: A doll blanket.
Dad: Why do you have it?
Daisy: To give it back to L___.

Almost Halloween

Most of Daisy's costume, headed to a party. The pointy orange, white and yellow hat makes it much more obvious that she's a candy corn witch.

Buster plays it cool at his friend Justin's birthday party, held at a warehouse.

Outfit

So. Not much posting for the last year. Going to try to get back to it, alternating old and new pix, rather than a futile attempt to catch up. We'll start with old. This one's almost a year old, and I'm struck by how Daisy doesn't stand in this little kid way anymore.

Where it came from

Buster: If I was taller I could lift this [garage door] all the way.
Dad: And if you had wheels you'd be a trolleycar.
Buster: What?
Dad: Grandma and Grandpa used to say that. When someone said something like that, "If this, then that," they'd say "And if you're grandmother had wheels she'd be a trolley car." I don't know where it came from, but that's what they'd say.
Daisy: It came from the '80s.
