Buster made a sign for his friend Javier to take to his sixth birthday party. In Buster's patented phonetic spelling system, it says, "Happy birthday, Javier. Feliz cumpleaños, Javier. From Buster." And there's a picture of a ninja, labeled "nenju." You kind of have to look for the "u." At the party. Buster, Javier, Strummer, Griffin and ... we forget. Strummer's cousin? Daisy organized the animal guests into a class. Piñata! Success. Javier or Griffin dealt the fatal blow. 12/12 and 12/13/08
Buster's taken up the pastime of sliding on his belly down the stairs, so of course little sister has to do what big brother does. Buster decided he was going to coach Daisy. So of course, the most important thing is to dress the part. Once in his sweatpants, jersey, baseball cap and whistle, he about killed me when he turned to me and said Can you sign her in, please? 12/6/08
